The 2022 Pacific Cup Race is Underway!
On Monday, July 4, the 2022 Pacific Cup Race race kicked off to begin sending over 60 yachts in division waves under the Golden Gate Bridge and out across the Pacific Ocean. Since 1980, this race has been enjoyed by thousands of sailors aboard an eclectic variety of cruising and performance vessels, sailing well over a million miles in total. After sailing out of San Francisco Bay, racers reach south in search of the best weather, then turn west to ride the tradewinds towards Hawaii. Within anytime from six to 17 days of exciting downwind sailing, the yachts arrive in Kaneohe Bay, Oahu to officially finish the race.
This year’s Pac Cup includes some familiar faces!
